The students spent time with their grandparents or other persons in their neighbourhood. They read books, helped them in using computers, asked them their experiences/problems / feelings and shared their experiences with the class.

“Extending a helping hand to the senior citizens, is a compassionate way to contribute to the well-being of older members in our society.
By taking up this project, Grade VII wanted to spread the message that, a small gesture of kindness and consistent support, can make a significant difference in the lives of the senior citizens.”
The students along with the teachers and the Principal visited the Old Age Home (Missionary of charity). They spent time with them, performed a dance, sung songs and gifted them something bought from the student’s savings.
They wrote few lines on the contribution of grandparents in their lives. Writing about the contribution of grandparents in their lives is a meaningful and enriching experience for students, fostering self-awareness, empathy, communication skills and gratitude while deepening their appreciation for the bonds that connect generations.
