Students created charts of medicinal plants, to showcase various plants and their medicinal properties.

“Herbs and medicinal plants have been used for thousands of years by various cultures around the world for their remedial properties. The importance of herbs and medicinal plants is multifaceted, encompassing health, economy, culture, and environmental aspects. The herbs and medicinal plants span up to a wide range of areas, from healthcare, environmental, conservation and economic development. To gain knowledge about herbs and medicinal plants, Grade IV had taken up this project- “Herbs and medicinal plants”.”

Propagation of medicinal plants like mint, corianders, aloe vera, tulsi, garlic was done by the students. They made soaps, hair oil, face packs, gel, ice tea. It helped students to develop a deeper understanding of Plant Biology, sustainability and the importance of natural remedies in healthcare.
