Students crafted charts to celebrate our local helpers. By engaging in this chart-making activity, students gained a better understanding of the diverse roles of community helpers and developed a greater appreciation for their contributions to the society.

“Community helpers play a vital role in maintaining the well-being and functionality of a society. These individuals contribute to the overall development and functioning of communities by providing essential services. Their efforts help to build a strong, interconnected community that can thrive and overcome challenges. Understanding the importance of saving money, can lay the foundation for responsible financial habits later on in life. In the light of this fact Grade 2 had been assigned the topic - Save money and support community helpers.”

Students shone as Community Helpers in the Fancy dress competition. By incorporating compassion-building activities into the fancy dress event, students developed a deeper appreciation for the work of community helpers and learnt how to show kindness and support to those who serve their community.
